iwCLL, the world’s leading association of specialists in the field of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), is proud to announce the appointment of its new Executive Board, all of whom will serve the organisation for two years from September 2025.
Susan O’Brien, MD takes over as Chair. She is joined by Professor Paolo Ghia as Deputy Chair and John Seymour, MBBS, PhD, FRACP, who takes over as Treasurer.
Susan O’Brien said, “I am honoured and delighted to take on this role alongside my highly experienced colleagues, Paolo and John. We will work hard to support iwCLL in its agenda to advance the treatment and outcomes of patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.”
Outgoing iwCLL Chair, Dr Thomas Kipps, says, “I am delighted to welcome Susan, Paolo and John to their new roles. They each have the deep specialist knowledge and dedication to our field that we need to drive progress in all aspects of the management of CLL and I wish them all the best.”
