The Latin American Group in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Virtual Meeting (LAG-CLL) and the Brazilian Association of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cell Therapy (ABHH) thanked the iwCLL (International Workshop on CLL) for its support of the 4th LAG-CLL Meeting held virtually on May 20- 21, 2022.
The fourth edition of the meeting was a great success with 806 attendees from 27 countries. The registrations were free of charge.
During the event 8 Scientific Sessions with 14 Topics, 12 Latin American Abstracts, 1 Special Conference with Professor Michael Hallek, 9 Panel Discussions Live, 3 Corporate Symposia with a total of 17 Speakers were presented with 15 Moderators.
The sponsors were Abbvie, Astrazeneca, Janssen and Zodiac companies.
This edition promoted the exchange of information and fostered the collaboration between international leaders and regional clinicians and scientists interested in CLL and lymphoproliferative disorders. It addressed the state of the art of Biology and the treatment of CLL, after recent international meetings including the XIX International Workshop on CLL (iwCLL).
It permitted direct and close contact among the experts and hematologists in the community, not only for a scientific update, but particularity for the discussion of the treatment peculiarities in less resourced countries. It was also a special opportunity for people working in labs and basic science to meet international groups in this field to discuss joint projects.
The content of the recorded lectures are available to all attendees.
