An interactive workshop on “Real-world studies in CLL” will take place during the XXI iwCLL meeting on Saturday 13 September 2025. This session offers participants the chance to deepen their understanding of how to engage in clinical and translational research on CLL, share ideas with peers, and gain practical insights.
The workshop is designed to be engaging and hands-on, with a focus on discussion of practical problems and possible solutions in the conduct of real-world studies. The main objectives are to:
- Present the main challenges in collecting real-world data through practical
examples - Explain the basic concepts of federated data collection and analysis
- Discuss with attendees how to improve collaboration and increase inclusive in real-world studies.
The workshop will be led by two leading researchers from the Institute of Applied Biosciences, Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, Thessaloniki, Greece:

- Thomas Chatzikonstantinou, Hematologist
